Micah Sieg

Hello! I am Micah Sieg, the pastoral intern here at Good Shepherd and current student at Luther Seminary in St Paul, MN. I grew up in Mount Horeb WI, which is a small town just west of Madison. I attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and Spanish in 2020. One big part of my college experience was studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain as part of my Spanish degree. It was one of the best times in my life and a place where I really started to embrace my call to ministry even more. I also worked at a Bible camp throughout my time in college and this was also a place where my sense of call to ministry started and continued to flourish each summer I worked there.

In my family I am the youngest of three kids, I have two older sisters, one of whom lives in Tucson, Arizona and the other lives in Guadalajara Mexico. My mom is a teacher and my dad works for General Mills. In my free time I love hanging out with friends, being outside whether that is hiking, biking, spike ball, and especially playing soccer. I love sports watching or playing and I especially love cheering for all Wisconsin teams, especially the Packers!!
